01

Who We Are

Junoon LLC operates the Junoon Journeys website at junoonjourneys.com and organizes motorcycle expedition services. Our on-ground operator in Pakistan is Adventure Planners Pakistan (License LHR-9383), responsible for logistics, vehicles, mechanics, and local guides on the route.

02

The Expedition

Junoon Journeys organizes group motorcycle expeditions. The current expedition — Junoon: The Karakoram Ignition — departs September 19, 2026 and concludes October 3, 2026. The route runs from Islamabad to Skardu via the Karakoram Highway. Detailed itinerary is provided to accepted participants.

The expedition is limited to 10 riders. We reserve the right to adjust group size, route, or schedule based on safety, road conditions, or force majeure events.

03

Application & Acceptance

Submitting an application does not guarantee a spot. Applications are reviewed personally; selection is based on riding experience, physical capability, group balance, and overall fit. All applicants receive a response within 5 business days.

A spot is not reserved until a deposit has been received and a Participant Agreement has been signed. Acceptance communication will include payment instructions and the Participant Agreement for review.

04

Payment & Deposit

The full expedition cost is $3,500 per person. Payment is structured as follows:

  • Deposit: $1,050 — due within 7 days of acceptance. Secures your spot.
  • Balance: $2,450 — due August 15, 2026.
  • Payment methods: Stripe (credit/debit card) or Wise (bank transfer).

Failure to pay the balance by August 15, 2026 may result in forfeiture of your spot and deposit.

05

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations by the participant:

  • The $1,050 deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.
  • Cancellation before July 15, 2026: balance refunded in full (deposit forfeited).
  • Cancellation July 15 – August 14, 2026: 50% of the balance refunded.
  • Cancellation on or after August 15, 2026: no refund of any amount paid.

Cancellations by Junoon Journeys: If we cancel the expedition for reasons other than force majeure, all amounts paid will be refunded in full within 14 days. In force majeure situations (see Section 09), we will offer a full credit toward a future expedition or a partial refund where recoverable costs permit.

Travel insurance with trip cancellation coverage is required. This policy does not replace it.

06

Participant Requirements

By accepting a spot, you confirm that you:

  • Hold a valid motorcycle license in your country of residence
  • Have real-world riding experience, including on unpaved or mountain roads
  • Are in reasonable physical health and capable of sustained riding at altitude
  • Have disclosed any medical conditions or physical limitations relevant to the expedition on your application
  • Will carry valid travel and medical insurance covering the full trip, including emergency evacuation from remote areas
  • Are 18 years of age or older

Providing false information on your application may result in removal from the expedition without refund.

07

Assumption of Risk

Motorcycle travel on the Karakoram Highway and adjacent routes involves inherent risks including adverse road conditions, landslides, altitude sickness, mechanical failure, extreme weather, and remote location. Medical facilities in the region are limited.

By participating, you acknowledge these risks and accept responsibility for your own safety and judgment on the road. A full Participant Agreement — including a detailed assumption of risk and liability waiver — will be provided at acceptance and must be signed before departure.

08

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Junoon LLC and its operators, guides, and partners shall not be liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage, delay, or expense arising from participation in the expedition, including events arising from the actions of third parties, natural events, or government decisions affecting travel.

Our total liability to any participant shall not exceed the amount paid by that participant for the expedition.

09

Force Majeure & Itinerary Changes

We reserve the right to alter the route, schedule, or itinerary at any time for reasons of safety, road conditions, government restrictions, natural events, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will make all reasonable efforts to deliver an equivalent experience.

Junoon LLC is not liable for costs incurred by participants — including flights, visas, or accommodation outside the expedition — in the event of changes or cancellation due to force majeure.

10

Conduct & Right to Remove

We reserve the right to remove any participant from the expedition at any time for conduct that endangers themselves, the group, or the expedition's relationship with local communities. This includes reckless riding, disrespect toward local people or customs, or violation of the Participant Agreement.

Removal for conduct violations does not entitle the participant to a refund of any amount paid.

11

Photography & Media

By participating, you grant Junoon LLC a non-exclusive right to use photographs and video taken during expedition activities for marketing and editorial purposes, unless you opt out in writing prior to departure.

You agree not to use photographs or video from the expedition in a manner that misrepresents Junoon Journeys, the expedition, Pakistan, or other participants.
